SDLBA President's Message

  Welome to 2010/2011 season. We have a few changes taking place this year and this will be a challenge for us all. Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me as your elected district president.

This year will be a learning curb for me, but with the experience of the executive committee and my trusty secretary Judy Osborne, I know it will go smoothly. Each bowler has a part to play in the success or fall of the association and I am sure that you are all looking at making Sunraysia the best association in Victoria.

I wish past president Shirley all the best for a somewhat quieter year and big thank you for a job well done over the past two years.

Congratulations to all the winners of the various club championships and your achievements at group level, and to the ladies of Workingmans club for their win in division one pennant and their wonderful achievements of becoming fifth at state level. Congragratulations also to Wentworth for wing division two pennant.

To all the members of the association, I wish you a healthy and happy season in 2010/2011 and a great year of fellowship and bowling within your own club and when visiting your sister clubs.

      SBA President's Message

  Being appointed of our Association is without doubt the highlight of my time as a lawn bowler. I look forward to the upcoming season with anticipation of another successful year for Sunraysia. One of our main aims is to improve our representative performances, but to do this all bowlers must play their part in making the effort to be available for selection.

I would like to continue building a stronger working relationship with the S.D.L.B.A.

We have very strong sub-committees and they can assure of all the support they need in carrying out their duties.

We at S.B.A. are here for all our bowlers and will continue to do all we can to provide the best services we can for you all to enjoy your games, be it social, pennant, or championship games.
